I actually use both, Sonarr/Radarr for the automated type of thing because of the integration with Ombi but I use FileBot for my Anime library which is only supported in Sonarr/Radarr with TheTVDB but since my Anime Library is not managed by TheTVDB but with my own MyAnimeList Agent FileBot and the AniDB renaming worked really well so far. Sonarr/Radarr is more for the automated type of thing but FileBot get things done if you want a quick and easy way to do it. Unless there is an easier way I always had to add the Movie/Show to Sonarr/Radarr, then I had to copy the folder name and create it in the destination directory that they will put the finished and renamed stuff in, create the folder, move all of the files into the folder and then had to scan the disk so that Sonarr/Radarr will update its UI and know that there are media files available and then click organize. If you just need to rename folders and files then it is much easier to do that in FileBot than in Sonarr/Radarr because you just open FileBot load the files, match and rename them. Sonarr/Radarr provide a lot more that you might not need like the whole indexing and downloader part of them. This is from the history list of filebot as I fixed this yesterday. Amazon's order of married with children doesnt match TVDB, so all I had to do was drag the files around within the filebot gui to get it renamed properly. Here is an example of a mismatch that was easy to catch. It’s significantly faster that I rather rename through filebot, I’ll end up importing it either way, but knowing the chance of an error is much smaller is nice for shows that have various releases and orders.Īlso what is nice is if you mess up, all renaming is in the history list so you can quite often undo mass edits very fast. Filebot is still overall faster, but not as necessary. It does the job great as well, but those aren’t a hassle to deal with. Also if you copy/paste it and all text is in one line, again Filebot wont accept it as a proper license. If you copy paste only the half of it, filebot will not be activated. I think they’re adding it but they use to not have that for shows unless there were two different years of identically names shows. You need to copy/paste the complete file and it needs to be in this format. Want to add certain details like the year, or put “the” of a show at the end before the year? No problem. Under the New Names panel, click the Fetch Data button. Anime that has episodes 1-500? Drop in filebot, click “plex season/episode” script and it preview the output, with episodes split up by season. To get started, drag and drop the media folder into Original Files panel. You can just drag and drop files around to rearrange it before renaming.įile bot also lets you save formatting scripts. For example, on one webrip, episode 7 may be episode 10 on tvdb by airdate. Filebot let’s you check and fix misnaming due to agent very fast. This can extend to children and other pets in the home sometimes. These cats can be a little bit spicy, often having little tolerance of shenanigans from anyone but themselves. They also report “tortitude”, which is a description of the specific types of personality and attitude that the tortoiseshell cats often have. However, people who own tortoiseshell cats report them being hot-tempered and more prone to aggressive behaviors than many other cats. Like calicos, tortoiseshells are known for their affectionate temperament. Like the calico, tortoiseshell cats can be from just about any breed. This white is usually too minimal to count the cat as a calico, and it is sometimes referred to as tortico. Sometimes, a cat will primarily look like a tortoiseshell with small patches of white. It is possible for the black to show up in a dilute form, appearing as blue or tabby. These cats are usually bicolor, with their two colors being black and brown, tan, or orange. Tortoiseshell cats are often confused with calicos, but they are distinctly different in appearance. Tortoiseshell Cat Overview Image Credit: Nui Rattapon, Shutterstock Appearance Make sure to provide your calico plenty of hiding places away from children and other pets so they can recharge. They are usually sweet and affectionate cats that are loving toward their people, although they can be very independent cats as well. It varies significantly between cats, but calicos are typically well suited for homes with children and other pets. In some cats, this may not cause any problems, but some cats may show symptoms of this condition, like behavioral problems, obesity, and an increased risk of conditions like diabetes and heart disease. This is a genetic abnormality that, in humans, is called Klinefelter’s Syndrome. This means that male calico cats have an extra chromosome, bringing them to XXY instead of XY. Since males only have one X chromosome, they are usually not affected by this gene, although they can carry it. This is because the gene that causes calico coats is linked to the X chromosome, but two copies of this gene are needed to create calico. You may have heard that all calico cats are females, and while this isn’t entirely true, it’s almost always true. Most people consider them quirky and energetic, but these traits can also translate into neurotic behaviors sometimes. However, they are generally known for being loving and affectionate cats that show a great deal of loyalty, especially for one chosen person. PersonalityĬalico cats can have any temperament due to their ability to be from any breed. White usually accounts for 25–75% of the coat of calicos. Calicos can also have red, brown, or tan in their coat, but they are always tricolor cats. Muted calicos are primarily white with accents of blue and cream. The calico coat consists of three colors, which are usually primarily white with accents of black and orange. Almost all cat breeds can have the potential for calicos. The appearance of a calico cat is determined by the colors of its coat, not its breed. Trainability: Feisty, affectionate, hot-temperedĬalico Cat Overview Image Credit: dmgreen22, Pixabay Appearance. Reflow profiles or processes that are not well optimised can lead to poor or non-wetting, damaged components or cold soldering.Īfter soldering the boards are inspected in detail. The processed board is cooling down in the last zones of the reflow oven, the solder alloy solidifies and makes the solder joints. Individuals primarily use reflow ovens for the thermal processing of soldering surface-mount electronic components to circuit boards. The component that has the lowest maximum temperature allowance will define the maximum temperature. This maximum temperature must remain under the maximum allowed temperature of the components. In the third section the solder paste is melted and the process reaches its maximum temperature. Surface mount technology (SMT) is the electronics assembly process where electrical throughout the PCB, individual pad connections are used to connect component leads. The Temperature gradient is important because too quick changes of temperature can cause damage to components.ĭuring the thermal soak the flux is activated to reduce oxidation of pads and leads of components and improve wetting. Step by Step Reflow Solder Process The Assembly of electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) is an electronics assembly. The aim of the preheating stage is to accumulate heat smoothly in the board and the components. Reflow solder profiles usually have four stages, preheat, thermal soak, reflow and cooling. The solder profile is influenced by the number of layers in the PCB, the copper distribution on the board, the number and size of components. Solder profiles need to be optimised for each individual assembly job. Multiple segments help to get an optimised heat transfer and minimum temperature differences between different points on the PCBA. Infra-Red (IR) Reflow Soldering is a SMT process in PCB assembly manufacturing, in which a solder paste is used to temporarily attach one or thousands of. These are long convection ovens with many heating zones that together create a soldering cycle.Įach heating zone of the oven has a regulated temperature set to the solder profiles for the assembly process. The solder paste melts during this process and cools down again to create a good solder joint. During the Pick & Place operation, components are glued to the board by the solder paste.Ī reliable connection is made during the reflow soldering process. (3) To supplement programs and authorities in the area of education to further the objectives of this subpart. (2) To authorize and develop internship and apprentice programs to assist Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and children and families of Massachusetts linked by history and tradition with Alaska and Hawaii to prepare for careers with cultural institutions. (1) To authorize and develop innovative culturally-based educational programs and cultural exchanges to assist Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and children and families of Massachusetts linked by history and tradition to Alaska and Hawaii to learn about shared culture and traditions. The purposes of this subpart are the following: (11) The resources of the institutions described in paragraphs (7) and (8) provide unique opportunities for illustrating and interpreting the contributions of Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, the whaling industry, and the China trade to the economic, social, and environmental history of the United States, for educating students and their parents, and for providing opportunities for internships and apprenticeships leading to careers with cultural institutions. (10) Cultural institutions can provide practical, culturally relevant, education-related internship and apprentice programs, such as the Museum Action Corps at the Peabody-Essex Museum and similar programs at the New Bedford Oceanarium and other institutions, to prepare youths and their families for careers in the cultural sector. (9) Within the fast-growing cultural sector, meaningful educational and career opportunities based on traditional relationships exist for Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and low-income youth in Massachusetts. (8) The New Bedford Whaling Museum, in partnership with the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park, has developed a cultural exchange and educational program with the Inupiat Heritage Center in Barrow, Alaska to bring together the children, parents, and elders from the Arctic region of Alaska with children and families of Massachusetts to learn about their historical ties and about each other's contemporary cultures. (7) In 2000, the Alaska Native Heritage Center in Alaska, the Bishop Museum in Hawaii, and the Peabody-Essex Museum in Massachusetts initiated the New Trade Winds project to use 21st-century technology, including the Internet, to educate students and their parents about historic and contemporary cultural and trading ties that continue to link the diverse cultures of the peoples involved. (6) In the past decades, awareness of the historical trading, cultural, and whaling links has faded among Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and the people of the continental United States. (5) From those commercial and whaling voyages, a rich cultural exchange and strong trading relationships developed among the three peoples involved. (4) Many New Bedford whaling voyages continued on to Hawaii, where they joined Native Hawaiians from the neighboring islands. (3) During the 19th century, over 2,000 whaling voyages sailed out of New Bedford, Massachusetts to the Arctic region of Alaska, and joined Alaska Natives from Barrow, Alaska and other areas in the Arctic region in subsistence whaling activities. (2) Nineteenth-century trading ships sailed from Salem, Massachusetts, around Cape Horn of South America, and up the Northwest coast of the United States to Alaska, where their crews traded with Alaska Native people for furs, and then went on to Hawaii to trade for sandalwood with Native Hawaiians before going on to China. (1) Alaska Natives and Native Hawaiians have been linked for over 200 years to the coastal towns of Salem, Massachusetts, and New Bedford, Massachusetts, through the China trade from Salem and whaling voyages from New Bedford. About Monster Hunter International A no holds barred all out page turner that is part science fiction, part horror, and an absolute blast to read. Here s a sample of Larry Correia s prose punch from series opener, Monster Hunter International: I didn t wake up that morning and decide that I was going to kill my boss with my bare hands. Business is good…ĭirty Harry meets Twilight. With the clock ticking towards Armageddon, Owen finds himself trapped between legions of undead minions, belligerent federal agents, a cryptic ghost who has taken up residence inside his head, and the cursed family of the woman he loves. Should the Cursed One succeed, it means the end of the world, and MHI is the only thing standing in his way. An ancient entity known as the Cursed One has returned to settle a centuries old vendetta. It’s actually a pretty sweet gig, except for one little problem. Monster Hunter International is the premier eradication company in the business. On the other side are the people who kill monsters for a living. Officially secret, some of them are evil, and some are just hungry. All the things from myth, legend, and B movies are out there, waiting in the shadows. Five days after Owen Zastava Pitt pushed his insufferable boss out of a fourteenth story window, he woke up in the hospital with a scarred face, an unbelievable memory, and a job offer. The city did not have any kind of air filtration system (as far as we know), only a ventilation system. Then again, we don't know where precisely the city is located at - it could conceivably be in one of the few locations that aren't susceptible to such activity. The city's residents would be safe underground, which may rule out earthquakes or any sort of heavy tectonic activity. This rules out any kind of heavy radiation, which would take several centuries to decay. The world was expected to recover within 200 years. The Builders had several years' notice, which they used to plan & build the underground city. The original book only refers to "impending disaster", but we can make some educated guesses based on the evidence: Neither the book nor the movie specify what disaster befell the world. Something we’re sadly denied. As revealed in the second book, there were a series of plagues & wars that ravaged mankind. Kenan’s palpable affection for his central creation is so strong that once we’re gasping fresh air, we want to dive back in, get to know Ember’s intriguing denizens better and properly explore its claustrophobic hinterland. You hope for an underground odyssey all you get is Ember… and out! The bad guys, headed up by Bill Murray’s disingenuous, pot-bellied mayor, never deliver up the threat. Mysteries remain unsolved (what’s with the outsize creepy-crawlies?) exciting action sequences are seemingly promised (a conflict with baddies on an impossibly high ladder!?) but fail to materialise. Here, though, Kenan reveals where there’s room for improvement: story-wise, the film only feels about two-thirds there. The moral isn’t hard to spot, especially when its adult population are portrayed as apathetic, corrupt, disillusioned or blindly grasping to ill-founded faith it’s up to inspired young heroes Lina and Doon to solve the puzzle left by Ember’s mythical Builders and escape their crumbling home. We’re introduced to this subterranean mini-metropolis’ decrepit charms via an astonishing aerial shot which wheels down from hundreds of dangling, flickering lamps to reveal humanity’s last hope, whose doom is contained within its very own DNA (or rather, town planning).Ĭity Of Ember is full of such sprightly visual thrills, and is packed with delightful incidental details that reveal a society making-do with dwindling resources. Ember is a decaying, dank urban jumble of crumbling redbricks, rusting lampposts and bleeding pipes, the kind of fantasy-sci-fi-retro world realised by Terry Gilliam in Brazil or Jeunet and Caro in The City Of Lost Children. Kenan has talked about his titular conurbation as the main character, and it’s clearly the one he loves most. On one level - and it’s a very important one - City Of Ember, based on Jeanne Duprau’s novel, is a triumph. So now we come to his second film: gone is the mo-cap, but the ’80s kids’ adventure vibe remains. With its ’80s kids’ adventure vibe and whirling, mo-cap style, Kenan marked himself out as a tyro who could tune in to a smart script and turn it in to an fairground-style entertainment, chills, spills and all. Gil Kenan’s Monster House was a beacon, flashing out across a darkness in which lurked faceless, franchise-spawned blockbusters, its sadly underappreciated luminance announcing: here is a new talent. |
